BAKED CAESAR CHICKEN RECIPES
INGREDIENTS
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 cup of Caesar salad dressing (click for homemade recipe)
- ½ cup sour cream (optional)
- 1-1½ cups of grated Parmesan cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 375F and spray the inside of the 8 "x 11" pan with cooking spray.
- If the breasts have uneven thickness, mash them (placed in a Ziploc bag and on a flat surface) to a thickness of ¾ "-1" using a meat masher. Sprinkle the breasts (both sides) with grated Parmesan cheese & freshly ground black pepper, and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
- Beat Caesar sauce and sour cream in a small bowl. Pour the Caesar / sour cream mixture over each breast and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Place the chicken that has been prepared in the oven and bake at 375F for 30 minutes or until the meat thermometer is inserted into the thickest part of one of the middle breasts to sound 150 ° F.
- Turn the oven to bake and roast the breast for an additional 2-4 minutes or until the chicken turns golden brown. It can burn quickly, so pay close attention. When finished, the meat thermometer must register 165F when it attaches to the thickest part of one of the middle breasts. Remove from the oven, cover loosely with tinfoil and let the chicken rest 5-10 minutes before serving.
- If desired, garnish with chopped parsley.
