Meatloaf:
- 2 lbs of ground beef (90% thin)
- 1 teaspoon of dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon red bell pepper
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of halal salt
- 1 small onion (finely diced)
- 1 tablespoon of garlic (chopped)
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs (plain)
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
Meatloaf Glaze:
- 1/3 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of sweet chili sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Cover the pan with aluminum foil. Spray a little with oil. Put aside.
For Meatloaf:
- Mix all ingredients "Meatloaf", in the order listed on breadcrumbs. Mix well to combine, and after that add milk and beaten eggs. Stir well.
- Add the cheddar cheese and stir again, but not too tight.
- Shape the beef mixture into a bread shape and place it on a prepared baking sheet.
Meatloaf Glaze:
- Mix all the Glaze ingredients in a small bowl until they are evenly mixed and set aside. Apply about half of the glaze throughout the meatloaf.
Bake:
- Transfer the meatloaf to the oven and bake for about 45 minutes, or until the temperature is within 160F degrees. Apply the remaining glaze to the entire surface of the meatloaf and bake for 15 minutes.
- After the meatloaf is finished, allow it to cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
